Conference
Assemblies
Conference assemblies are held annually, providing a significant opportunity for vicars for religious to come together from several dioceses of the United States. The assemblies serve various purposes:
-
To welcome new vicars to the Conference and orient them further in their role and give them an awareness of the types of resources that are available to them;
-
To come together from the four regions to strengthen the relationships that exist among us and to discover ways of networking;
-
To engage in a meaningful exchange of ideas and initiatives regarding issues that vicars for religious confront in their ministry;
-
To invite speakers with the expertise to address pertinent topics for vicars.
Each conference assembly has a particular theme and each of the four regional conferences alternate in taking responsibility for the spiritual, professional, social, and practical preparations.
